#VintagePhotoOfTheDay Greg Weld in the #16 and Bobby Unser up top in the #3 on June 19, 1966 at Terre Haute Action Track the week after Jud Larson was killed in the #16. You can see the nose and tail are still primered. When asked by the crew if there was anything Greg wanted them to do to the car, Greg's only request was "Did you get all the blood cleaned out of it"? Weld must have been a tuff bird, his goggles are gone yet he races on.
