It's hard to believe what Robert Ballou did last night at eldora. Almost a year after breaking his neck in a nasty crash at Calistoga he makes a triumphant return to USAC non wing 410's at the famed eldora speedway. In just his second night back in a car Robert out the right rear right up against the wall and set a blistering pace to grab the win. The line he ran, how high he entered turn 1, after such a long recovery just boggles my mind. A crash like Robert had would make anyone timid, and Bobby Ballou proved not only is he one of the most skilled noneing drivers in the country but also that he has nerves of steel. Congrats on the win Robert. It's great to see you back at the track.
