Great photo of Tony Bettenhausen’s NOVI being loaded into a plane in 1957. The car was being shipped to Monza, Italy and rumor has it the car peaked 200MPH on the straights during its record setting run. Unfortunately the NOVI’s never won the fabulous Indy 500, but they did have the greatest sounding roar to ever grace the speedway.
