4 crown nationals, one of my favorite races of the year, here’s a photo from one of my favorite races of all time. A juiced up eldora, and Justin Grant passes CJ Leary on the last lap threading the needle through lap traffic. When I say juiced up eldora, I mean JUICED! They were scraping mud from the bottom with a bobcat and road grader and piling it up in the infield. JG credits this win as the one that turned his career around. He was about to go drive a dump truck, and now he’s one of the top talents and I say a shoe in for the hall of fame. 🫡
